balaclava navy

balaclava made from a blend of 40% mohair, 10% silk, and 50% merino wool, spun in italy. mohair gives the fabric its characteristic brushed surface and light weight. silk adds softness against the skin. merino provides warmth and structure. all yarns are oeko-tex certified.

the first prototype was hand-knit, stitch by stitch, to get the fit right. combines a neck scarf and hood in one, or pulled down to frame the face. the fabric softens and shapes to the head with wear.
